Wednesday nights

Lenten Discipleship Groups

On March 13, 20, April 3 and 10 at 6 pm we will have four different groups meeting to engage with the week‘s               Gospel Lesson:

Art:  We’ll use a different,  easily accessible art experience each week to help us reflect on our scriptures readings. Facilitated by Alicia Porterfield and FAB folks.

Movement:  We will use gentle yoga and stretching to open ourselves up to hearing the Word in new ways. Yoga teacher Katie Rose will facilitate.

Music:   We will use the gift of music to listen for the richness and depth of our weekly Gospel readings. Led by Jon Brannon, John Campbell, and Chris and Mycah Sizemore

Word:  We will use an ancient and trusted pattern of listening to scripture deeply and prayerfully called Lectio Divina, or “Divine Reading.” Led by Eric S. Porterfield and FAB folks.
