Revolution Ministries at Fifth Avenue Baptist Church is focused on revolutionizing the way God is shared among young adults in our community. We strive to provide a welcoming and judgement free space for young adults to learn and grow closer to God. It is through these efforts we desire to create firm, lifelong connections among young adult believers both in our local church community and in the communities we serve as each individual moves out into the world in pursuit of education, careers, and families.
Check out our list of upcoming events and gatherings for Summer 2021 on Tuesdays at 6:00 pm.
We will meet on Sunday evenings at 6:00 pm beginning August 15th.
Join us for wings, a study of Colossians 3, and an Independence Day theme! Come dressed in your red, white, and blue for a fun evening of Bible study and fellowship.
No, this night isn't for your parents...though they might try to join you if you tell them it's 80s themed. The 80s were great, and we're bringing them back on July 13th! Join us for pizza, Colossians 4, and fellowship.
Make a pig of yourself at our Christmas in July night on July 20th. We'll have Heavenly Ham, begin studying Philippians 1, and enjoy some fellowship.
The 90s were known for peace, prosperity, and the INTERNET--something today's young adults have likely never lived without. On July 27th, we will meet to study Philippians 2, have a sandwich battle, and time for fellowship, 90s style.
Tell us you're a fan without telling us you're a fan....Dress in your favorite team apparel for a night of chili, Philippians 3, and sports-themed fellowship on August 3rd.
Join us for our final gathering of the summer on August 10th! We will have a cookout, study Philippians 4, and bid farewell to our friends returning to out of town schools.
To share Christ authentically and purposefully, we have to reach out beyond the walls of our church. Through a partnership with Baptist Campus Ministries, YoungLife, Cru, FCA, and other student organizations, FAB has an active presence on the campus of Marshall University.
From bonfires to concerts to meeting up for dinner, Revolution Ministries offers encouragement and friendship to students by meeting them exactly where they are. Our hope is that our presence on campus helps Marshall students encounter Christ in a personal, relational way.
To get involved in FAB's Revolution Ministries or find out about upcoming outreach events on campus, email DaVontaé Edwards.
Through our adopt-a-college-student program, members of our church send monthly letters and care packages to college students, reminding them that they are prayed for and loved by their FAB family.
