Fall 2019 Wednesday night Discipleship classes // September 12 to October 31, 2018// 6:00 pm

 Missions: Going There and Engaging Here:  We’ll explore the trajectory Christian missions from Acts to present day, reflect on FAB’s approach to missions, and visit four local mission partners in our community.  Facilitated by Marla Tolley, Missions Commission Chair, Ann Niday, MC member and staff member, and Alicia Porterfield (Cornerstone Classroom 3rd floor). 

Christian Civility in an Uncivil World: Led by Dr. Sarah Denman, we’ll take a close look at civility as a Christian call and virtue and discuss how we can engage our uncivil world with the attitudes, approaches, and language of civility (Homebuilders Classroom, 1st floor). 

Pastor’s Bible Study: Eric Porterfield leads this lecture-discussion study, which will partner with the sermons in September and October, beginning with the Book of James.  Participants will dig deep into scripture and engage with one another about living our faith in today’s world (Fellowship Hall). 

Women’s Bible Study: Facilitated by Christy Bird, this homework-driven study centers on Galatians. Interested women, please meet briefly with Christy on Sept. 5th in the Fellowship Hall after the business meeting to pick up your materials and learn about the study schedule (Parlor, 1st floor).
