How FAB is organized

Our organizational structure provides for a Church Council and seven commissions. Church Council is made up of commission chairs and vice chairs, as well as 12 at-large members of the church. Each commission has up to 25 members and meets monthly. For more information, email Minister of Education Rev. Alicia Porterfield.



CHURCH COUNCIL

The Church Council is FAB's primary leadership group. The Church Council is responsible for establishing church policy and for overseeing and coordinating the mission of the church, subject to the will of the church.


ADULT EDUCATION COMMISSION

CHILDREN'S EDUCATION COMMISSION

OUR PASTORAL LEADERSHIP

Strong pastoral leadership has been a cornerstone of our fellowship at Fifth Avenue Baptist Church. 

In over 140 years, only 10 pastors have led our congregation.
